Stock Allocation & Reservation
When you pre-order an item marked “Pre-Order — Guaranteed Allocation” on biovertexa.com:
- Your order reserves a physical unit from our confirmed manufacturer supply quota (DeWalt UK, Milwaukee UK, Makita UK).
- Allocations are assigned strictly on a first-ordered, first-dispatched basis.
- We do not over-allocate pre-orders beyond confirmed manufacturer delivery manifests.
Payment Processing & Price Guarantee
Payment is authorized and captured securely at checkout via Stripe or PayPal. This locks in your purchasing price:
If the manufacturer increases trade pricing before launch, you will never be asked to pay more.
If the retail price decreases before dispatch, we automatically refund the difference to your payment card.
Estimated Delivery Dates (EDD)
All pre-order product listings display a clear Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) based on official supplier production timelines:
- While we work closely with tool brands to meet targeted launch windows, EDDs remain estimates subject to global supply chain and port logistics.
- Our team actively tracks inbound manufacturer containers to our Maidenhead depot.
Manufacturer Delay Protocols
If a manufacturer delays a product release by more than 7 business days past the published EDD:
- You will receive an automated email notice providing the updated factory arrival date.
- You are entitled to cancel your pre-order immediately for a 100% full refund with zero cancellation penalties.
No-Fee Pre-Order Cancellation
You may cancel any pre-order at any time prior to physical warehouse dispatch:

- Funds are credited back to your original payment method within 1–2 business days.

Orders Containing Both In-Stock & Pre-Order Items
If your order contains both in-stock tools and pre-order items:
- Default Shipment: Orders are typically consolidated to ship complete once the pre-order item arrives.
- Free Split Dispatch: If you need in-stock items urgently for a job, contact our support team. We will dispatch in-stock items immediately at no additional delivery cost.
Statutory 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (CCR 2013)
Your statutory 14-day cancellation cooling-off rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 do not begin when you pre-order; they commence from the day you physically receive the tool.
